About Us
Friends of Normie is both a cat rescue organization and a business selling safe and sustainable cat products. Our goal behind it all is to provide safety to as many cats as possible, which is why we prioritize giving back to rescue efforts.
OUR MISSION
To save as many cats and kittens as we possibly can by creating beautiful, safe, and sustainable products.
FON Story
Friends of Normie began in 2020 as a cat rescue operation run by two independent cat rescuers based in Southern California.
Since then, we have rescued thousands of cats from the streets and shelters and have no intention of slowing down.
In 2022, we began the next leg of our journey by introducing our own line of cat products free of plastics, stuffing, staples, and harmful chemicals.
Our goal is to one day grow big enough to fund spay and neuter clinics, get a physical adoption space, and fund independent rescuers.

Gary
After Gary was dumped by another rescue, he became our longest resident kitty until he found his forever home with parents Tess and Lucas. Now he has a taste for the finer things in life and loves cashmere, weighted blankets, lox, and of course, snuggles.
Poppy
Poppy was rescued off the streets pregnant at just 10 months old. She was the first mama cat we ever rescued! Now she lives in Los Angeles and loves soaking up the sun and getting lots of scratchies.
Papa
Papa was near death when a rescuer brought him in. He was severely beaten and starving and has been on the streets for years fending for himself. His life changed when he was taken in and eventually adopted and now lives a life of luxury in Los Angeles with his mom.
